Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to every order placed with Goretti Stores, whether through our website, Instagram, WhatsApp, or by phone. By placing an order, you agree to them. Please read them alongside our Shipping Policy and Return & Refund Policy.

2. Products and Descriptions

We make every effort to describe and display our products accurately. Images are for illustration, and minor differences in colour, packaging or finish may occur. Product specifications are provided as supplied by the manufacturer.

All products are subject to availability. Where an item becomes unavailable after you order, we will contact you to offer an alternative or cancel the order. Any payment already made for that item will be refunded in full.

3. Prices

All prices are in Nigerian Naira (₦). Prices shown on our website and social media pages are correct at the time of posting and may change without notice. The price confirmed to you at the time of your order is the price you pay.

Where a pricing error occurs, we will contact you before dispatch to confirm whether you wish to proceed at the correct price or cancel.

4. Placing an Order

An order is confirmed once we have agreed the item, quantity, price, delivery fee and delivery address with you. We may call or message you to confirm these details before dispatch.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where details cannot be confirmed, where we suspect fraud, or where the delivery address is outside our coverage.

5. Payment

• Within Lagos: Payment on Delivery is available. Payment is made in full to the delivery agent, by cash or transfer, when the item is handed over.
• Outside Lagos: Part payment is required before dispatch, with the balance paid on pickup or delivery.
• Online payments: Payments made online are processed securely by Paystack. We do not see or store your card details.

Some products carry specific payment or delivery terms, such as free nationwide delivery or payment on delivery outside Lagos. Where a product page or offer states different terms, those terms apply to that product.

6. Delivery

Delivery timelines, fees and coverage are set out in our Shipping Policy. Please make sure your delivery address and phone number are correct and reachable. Where delivery fails because the customer cannot be reached or the address is incorrect, a second delivery attempt may attract an additional fee.

7. Inspection on Delivery

We encourage you to inspect your item in the presence of the delivery agent before completing payment or accepting the delivery. Any visible damage or missing parts should be raised at that point.

8. Returns and Refunds

Returns, replacements and refunds are handled under our Return & Refund Policy. Issues must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.

9. Use of Products

Products must be used in line with the manufacturer's instructions. Fitness equipment, electrical items and heating devices should be assembled, used and maintained as directed. Goretti Stores is not responsible for damage or injury arising from misuse, incorrect installation, or use contrary to the product instructions.

Health and fitness products are not medical devices. Any benefits described are general and results vary by person. Seek medical advice before starting a new exercise routine or if you have a health condition.

10. Warranty

Unless a product is sold with a stated manufacturer's warranty, products are covered only by our Return & Refund Policy. Where a manufacturer's warranty applies, its terms will be communicated at the time of purchase.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any order is limited to the amount paid for the item concerned. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of income or business, arising from the purchase or use of any product.

Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act or other applicable Nigerian law.

12. Privacy

We collect your name, phone number and delivery address only to process and deliver your order and to contact you about it. We do not sell or share your information with third parties, except with delivery partners and payment processors as needed to complete your order.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time of your order applies to that order.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute will first be addressed directly with us in good faith. Where it cannot be resolved, it will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Lagos State.
